Live From Leicester 2020

Union JACK Radio was live from the Leicester Comedy Festival throughout February!

It's the largest comedy festival in Europe with more than 800 acts in over 90 venues - and we were there broadcasting some key events in the calendar.

Have a peek below to see what we got up to:

The Full English

All the normal nonsense from The Full English breakfast show, live from the city of Leicester.

Lucy Leeds Loose in Leicester: Live

The worst guide possible for the Leicester Comedy Festival - and Leicestexpert Alex Hylton - as Lucy Leeds prepared for her first (and last) stand up gig.

The UK Pun Championships

A celebration of the great British pun featuring contestants from across the UK.

Asking For A Friend: Live

Steve N Allen, Katie Pritchard and Nick Helm joined host Mark Dolan to answer the questions you've never dared ask.

Union JACK Radio's Circuit Breakers

Live comedy from the best up-and-coming comedians.

Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year

Eight comedians competing for one of comedy's most prestigious awards - with Geoff Lloyd and Tom Rosenthal commentating on the whole thing (a bit like Eurovision)!

Past winners include Josh Widdicombe, Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Seann Walsh and Rhod Gilbert.
